Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer specializing in Go (Golang) to join our dynamic team at Speax.ai. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, extensive experience with Go (Golang), and a passion for building scalable, efficient, and secure applications. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining our core software solutions, ensuring that our video translation services are reliable, fast, and of the highest quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable, and secure applications using Go (Golang).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including AI engineers, product managers, and UX/UI designers, to gather requirements, architect solutions, and implement new features.
- Write clean, maintainable, testable, and efficient code while adhering to best practices and coding standards.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and maintainability.
- Identify and troubleshoot performance bottlenecks, and implement optimizations to enhance application performance.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies, and proactively recommend improvements to our technology stack.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in software development.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Go (Golang) development.
- Strong understanding of software architecture principles, design patterns, and best practices (SOLID, hexagonal architecture).
- Extensive experience with designing, developing, and maintaining RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
- Experience with message queues like RabbitMQ.
